As a freelance makeup artist, Katie Guevarra uses her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University and background in social media and marketing to manage her own growing business, KG Beauty. Although Katie resides in Nashville, TN, she travels along the East Coast to fulfill the needs of her beauty clientele. From pageant contestants, to bridal parties, to professional photo shoots, Katie strives to make her client’s vision come to life with every brush stroke.

When Katie is not traveling to glamorize her clients, she uses her broad area of expertise to elevate the visibility of two world renown evening wear brands, Jovani Fashions and JVN by Jovani through social media expansion and innovative marketing campaigns. From styling seasonal photo shoots to launching the successful Jovani It Girl contest, Katie remains an integral part of the Jovani Fashions Public Relations team.

In November 2019, Katie captured the title of Miss Delaware USA 2020 where she competed in the nationally televised Miss USA pageant. Throughout her reign, Katie promoted her personal initiative: “Strength(in) Me,” which allowed her to share her story of overcoming adversity as motivation and empowerment for girls across the United States.

Katie's heart for service is extended to many other charitable organizations, such as My Sisters’ Place, where she serves as an ambassador, and W Girls, which hosts prom dress drives and events that benefit economically underprivileged youth. Katie strives to leave a legacy behind that impacts generations of uplifted, encouraged, and edified young women to come.
